Campus Pointe-Phase 1*
Campus Pointe-Phase 1*
San Diego, CA
This project was a 32-acre LEED Platinum project adjacent to designated Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) land. Utilizing native trees, plantings, and a native wildflower meadow, the design united two completely different land uses: a biotech research campus and protected canyon habitat, to create a beautiful inviting streetscape. In addition, the natural context of the site was used to inspire upscale campus amenities designed for the biotech industry. Those include a campus park, courtyard event areas, entry plazas, a one-mile walking trail, and a large, native wildflower meadow where canyon deer can be found lounging on summer evenings.
