Landscape Security Upgrades, County of San Diego

In an effort to provide increased security for several County of San Diego public support service sites our team was tasked to design large vehicle-stopping security systems that blended into the existing architecture, enhanced hardscape and landscape features of each location. The renovations of landscape planting and decorative rock were also included as part of the design, where budget allowed. Specific sites include the following: Housing and Community Development Services, Health and Human Services, George F. Bailey Detention Facility, and the East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility.
